Dr. Jessie Scott
Doctor Jessie Scott is a graduate from Winona State University and The
University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. By combining advanced dental
technology with a gentle, friendly style, Dr. Scott and her team will make
you and your family more comfortable than you ever thought possible.
Being a recent graduate, Dr. Scott provides some of the latest advances in
technology, including digital x-rays, tooth-colored restorations, and laser
caries detection.
Best of all, Dr. Scott takes the time to get to know each and every patient
one on one. Your needs are important, and we are here to help you. Dr.
Scott and her husband Matt have one son-Sean, one daughter-Meagan and
two dogs, Dexter & Reggie. Although Hawarden, Iowa is where they are
originally from they are excited to make Yankton home for their growing
family.
In her free time, Dr. Scott enjoys spending time with her family, reading,
hiking with the dogs, traveling, doing crafts and baking treats for her
husband!

Jan Loecker, RDH
Jan is a graduate of USD with a degree in Dental Hygiene and has worked
for various dentists in Alaska, Mitchell, and Yankton. She has thoroughly
enjoyed every aspect of being a hygienist and is excited to have the
opportunity to help Dr. Scott build her dental practice in Yankton.
Jan has been married to her husband, Rod, for 9 years and he truly is her
best friend! She has two children and two
step children. Her son, Rob, is an optometrist and he lives in Kansas with
his wife Stephanie. Her daughter, Tara, is the human resource person at a
hospital in Minnesota and is married to Mark. Jan's stepdaughter, Anne,
works for an investment firm. She and her husband, Kris, live in Colorado
and have two sons. Daniel is 10 years old and Eric is 8 years old. Her
stepson, Adam, works as an installer for a video company. He and his
wife, Kelli, live in South Dakota and they have a daughter, Abrieana.
Jan's hobbies include visiting her kids and grandkids, walking, biking,
golfing, and gardening.
Nancy Busby
Nancy was born and raised in Yankton and has lived here all her life. She
attended Sacred Heart Grade School, Mount Marty High School, SDSU and
Mount Marty College. Nancy has been married for 36 years to her husband
Jerry and they have two sons, Jon and Jay. Jon lives in Kansas City
where he is an electrical engineer and project manager for Burnes and
McDonnell in their power distribution division. Jay is currently a senior at
Minnesota State University at Mankato with both a history/social studies
and education major. Jerry is water superintendent for the city of Yankton.
Jon and his wife Kelli are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Nancy's first
granddaughter, who will be arriving from China, hopefully by the end of the
year.
From 1978 to 2003 Nancy was a travel agent at Abbott Travel, and from
1982 to 2003 was manager at that same location. In 2004 Nancy went to
work for Dr. Sheldon Cook as office manager and remained in that position
until he sold his practice in 2007. Nancy is very excited to work with Dr
Scott, and to help her build Scott Family Dentistry into the best dental
office that Yankton has.
Amanda Wahl, RDH
Amanda is a graduate of the University of South Dakota with her
Bacherlor's degree in dental hygiene. She is originally from Huron, SD and
has enjoyed living in her new community of Yankton. She looks forward
to meeting new patients and helping them have healthy, beautiful smiles.
She enjoys spending time with her wonderful family and friends, traveling,
biking, photography, and reading. Amanda will be getting married to her
fiance Mark in January 2010 and they have one dog, Bristol.
